When Linda Lohman moved again to Louisville from Mount Washington in 2008, she was nearing retirement and knew she wished a small house that might be straightforward to take care of. A two-bedroom, one-bath, 1952 ranch home in Bon Air match the invoice and felt shut sufficient to commute to the downtown job she held on the time.

“Each room has (since) been painted,” Lohman advised The Courier Journal. “And in every room, there was some reworking executed.”

She provides that the lavatory has had essentially the most work, as the unique tile was nonetheless intact — beneath one other layer of tile — when she moved in. It was all in horrible form, so she enlisted the assistance of her brother-in-law, Steve Tucker, to renovate the area. Tucker put in new tile, an arrogance, mirror and lightweight fixture; he even changed the tub with a walk-in bathe.
